Jane Maguire

Hi everyone! My name is Jane, I’m a grade 12 student at Monarch Park, and I’m so excited to be your USG of GA’s. In my not-so-humble opinion, GAs are far underrated. I’m thrilled to see the diplomacy and respectful debate in the committee rooms. GAs are a fantastic way to share ideas and explore real-world issues. When I started MUN, I was nervous to try GAs. It was much more exciting than I ever imagined when I finally participated in one. After yelling back and forth with Papua New Guinea, we decided to put aside our differences and become allies, and GAs became one of my favourite parts of MUN.
