Model United Nations (Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation in which high school students assume the roles of a representative in United Nations (or a similar body). Delegates engage in formal debate, draft and negotiate resolutions, and address pressing international issues through diplomatic discussion and consensus-building. Around the world, MUN conferences are hosted by high schools, universities, and international organizations, drawing students from different countries and regions. These conferences range from local school events to large-scale gatherings in global cities such as New York, Geneva, and Singapore, reflecting the international scope and diversity of the Model UN community.
